About the Awards
The PVSEC-31 Awards Program celebrates researchers, engineers, and professionals whose work has advanced the field of photovoltaic science and engineering. Awards were presented during the conference in Sydney in December 2021, honouring both established leaders and emerging contributors.
The program reflects PVSEC's long-standing tradition of recognising excellence across the international photovoltaics community, from fundamental materials research through to deployed systems and policy.
Nomination & Selection Process
Nominations were invited from across the research community, with a defined review pathway to ensure fair, transparent selection.
- Call for nominations — Open call distributed through the conference channels prior to the event.
- Submission of nominations — Nominators provided candidate details, citation, and supporting evidence.
- Committee review — Submitted nominations were evaluated by the awards review panel against the published criteria.
- Selection and notification — Successful recipients were notified and recognised during the conference.
Award Categories
